My Studio
I don't normally share photographs of my studio but wanted to give an idea of where I work and get my inspiration from.
At the moment I am working on a painting of a little harbour in a place called Boatstrand in Ireland. I try to make my paintings to look as realistic as possible. This painting is half ways through. I have another good few hours work on it.

Some backround information on my new painting!
Boatstrand is a tiny harbour in Ireland where I grew up. It is situated on the Copper Coast which is an area of outstanding natural beauty and a UNESCO Global Geopark. Growing up in this area has definitely given me the inspiration to paint. Everywhere you look is beautiful. We are lucky enough to be able to spend a lot of time in our house there in the summer months. My camera is never out of my hand. It is my "happy place"
